Community Scholars Program is an initiative of the Office of the President and administered through The Harris Centre. The goal of the program is to build stronger connections between Memorial researchers and communities across Newfoundland and Labrador. The program provides up to $10,000 to 10 scholars annually who would like to spend 8-10 weeks in a community of their choice anywhere in the province and engage with the residents in a range of activities they agree will have an impact on the community as well as on their scholarship. The only eligible scholars are full time faculty and post-doctoral students and fellows.
